Sicasumbre Astronomical Viewpoint
Star Gazer's Paradise
The Sicasumbre astronomical viewpoint is located on the left bank of the FV-605 highway, between kilometers 11 and 12 and after passing the hamlet of Fayagua.
The viewpoint has fantastic views of the southwest of the island but having little light pollution it is an amazing place to take photographs of the night sky.
There is a scale model of the solar system, so you identify the planets in the sky, the solstices and equinoxes.
On the path you will find sculptures of goats, works by the sculptor Juan Majorero Miguel Cubas along with the iconic Fuerteventura sign.
